TINGNAN ANG HINDI NAKIKITA

Tingnan Ang Hindi Nakikita (translated as See the Unseen) is a piece designed to evoke empathy and recognition, inviting viewers to step into the shoes of a Filipina frontline healthcare worker. During the COVID-19 pandemic, many of these workers faced mistreatment, neglect, and a lack of appreciation despite their relentless efforts to save lives. This work aims to highlight the unique challenges experienced by frontline workers, particularly those with complex, intersecting identities, whose contributions often go unacknowledged. Through this piece, I hope to inspire a deeper understanding and continued recognition of their vital, yet often overlooked, roles.
